About Stirling Podiatry

Sophie graduated from Curtin University in 1997 and has worked in all areas of podiatry over the last 20 years. 3 years were spent in a public hospital working in a high risk clinic with patients experiencing complications from diabetes and other chronic diseases.

By far the majority of her experience has been in private practice, managing patients with general foot pain such as plantar fasciits, joint pain and neuromas, sports injuries of the knees, legs and feet, and common complaints of children including growing pains and heel pain.

Built as an annex to Sophie's home in Balcatta, the clinic is fresh and modern, offering the latest assessment and treatment technologies including 3D scanners, a computerised force plate gait analysis system, a treadmill and an assortment of impressive software.

"The human foot is indeed a work of art. When it works properly it is the most fascinating design of engineering brilliance. The intricate biomechanics and neuromuscular control of the foot require complex understanding"
